Texas REALTORS® on the radio, 2001: Feb. 12-17 March 26-31 June 11-16 Sept. 17-22
|
Encouraging the public to consult a REALTOR® is extremely important to 85% of Texas REALTORS®, according to a statewide survey of TAR members. Last summer, REALTOR® associations in Texas did something about it, banding together for a one-week, statewide radio blitz using NARs anti-FSBO commercial (see May and June 2000 issues of Texas REALTOR®). This year, Texas REALTORS® are doing even more to reach consumers. Week-long blocks of 30- and 60-second commercials are running every quarter on 135 radio stations throughout Texas. While most of the spots are from NARs ongoing public awareness campaignWere REALTORS®. Real Estate is Our Lifesome are Texas-specific. Local boards in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and other areas are further boosting the pro-REALTOR® message with additional radio buys. For a list of participating radio stations or for more information, contact TARs John Gormley at 800/873-9155, ext. 181.
