TAR expands access to legal hotline

The TAR Legal Hotline used to be limited to two people per office. Now the association permits the designated REALTOR® to authorize all agents to use the hotline–and it’s all free.

Those designated REALTOR® who prefer to know when an associate has a need to contact legal counsel may continue to limit access to the legal hotline to a small number of individuals (managers, for example). But those designated REALTORS® who wish to allow some or all associates in an office to have hotline access may now do so with much more flexibility than ever before.

If you’re the designated REALTOR® for your office but have never used the TAR Legal Hotline, don’t worry. All designated REALTORS® now have access to the hotline automatically. To see who currently has access to the TAR Legal Hotline from your office, designated REALTORS® can log in to TexasRealtors.com and choose the Legal Hotline Manager (underneath your personal log-in information) to view, add, or delete the names of persons from your office who can call the hotline. You can return to the Legal Hotline Manager whenever you want to update your office designees.

If you have any problems or questions, please contact TAR’s Melanie Poole at 800/875-9155, ext. 113.
