Find your desktopIt happens to all PC users eventually. Youre using your e-mail, word processor, Web browser, and spreadsheet applications at the same time, which means you have multiple windows open on your computer, and need to get at a shortcut or file thats on your desktop. Rather than wading through all those programs, hit the Windows key and M at the same time. This action minimizes all windows and displays your desktop. Make the font appear biggerIf your PCs mouse has a wheel protruding from its top, a simple spin can enlarge or shrink the font displayed on your monitor. While using Microsofts Internet Explorer, Word, or Excel programs, hold down the Ctrl key and spin the wheel atop your mouse. This action changes the magnification to make the words appear bigger or smaller. Illustration © Artville.
