TREC expands online offerings

Real estate brokers and salespersons have been able to renew their licenses online since August 2000. Now TREC has added an online salesperson-license application to its Web site at www.trec.state.tx.us/licenses.

"Although the online application just began in January, we’re finding that this has become our most frequently used online transaction," said Wayne Thorburn, administrator of TREC.

The online application joins the expanding list of services TREC offers real estate professionals via the Internet, including verification of education records on file with the commission, licensee information, and license renewal.
