TAR Winter Meeting 2002

REALTORS® from across the state convened in Austin Feb. 9-13 to conduct the association’s business, attend education sessions, and socialize. Among the meeting highlights, John Sharp, candidate for lieutenant governor, spoke at the TREPAC Investors Breakfast and Awards. Sharp was one of several candidates TREPAC trustees approved financial support for and the executive board unanimously endorsed. Others on that list include Rick Perry for governor, Greg Abbott for attorney general, Carole Keeton Rylander for comptroller, and Susan Combs for agriculture commissioner, as well as candidates in nine senatorial races and 44 candidates for the House of Representatives.

Also, the TAR board of directors elected association officers for 2003: George Stephens, chairman of the board; Dave Dalzell, chairman-elect; Lance Lacy, secretary/treasurer.
