Don’t touch that mouse

Have you noticed how menu items in Windows programs have an underlined letter? This is to help you make menu selections without using your mouse. Press the Alt key on your keyboard, and you will see that the menu item on the left (typically File) is now highlighted. Press the down-arrow key to see the full list of menu items under that heading, or press the right-arrow key to move to the next menu heading. With the menu list visible, simply type the key that corresponds to the underlined letter of the selection you want to make.
