Later versions of Microsoft Outlook give you the option to organize your e-mail messages in a variety of helpful ways. For example, you can assign colors to specific senders, so messages from your assistant, for example, would always show up in green. You can also customize rules for messages that meet certain criteria (from a specific person, containing a key phrase, etc.) to be sorted into folders of your choosing. To access these features, click Tools, then click Organize.
