Are you neglecting a perfectly good piece of real estate? The blank space on the back of your business card gives you an additional seven square inches to turn up the marketing potential for that little handout.
So what should you print there—more contact numbers and slogans? No, that would probably just confuse people.
Instead, print something useful that someone might keep handy and refer to often. A calendar, sports schedule, phone numbers for weather forecasts or tidal information, a schedule of your city’s special events, phone numbers for airline arrival info, cab phone numbers, and Web addresses for city services—any kind of information people need from time to time.
You now also have another “excuse” to hand out business cards. Whenever someone expresses interest in the material on the back of your card, make sure to give them several and ask them to share them with family and friends.
