The Texas Association of REALTORS® won several awards for the associations work for the membership. At the 2002 Bronze Quill/Best of Austin awards presented by the Austin chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators, TAR earned four Awards of Merit Texas REALTOR® magazine, Whadayamean campaign, Overwhelming radio spot, and "Pop-up Windows" illustration. TAR took home two Bronze Quill Awards (the programs top honor) for the associations consumer Web site, TexasRealEstate.com, and for the "Find Your Niche" cover design from the March/April 2001 Texas REALTOR®. TAR also won two awards for its Code of Ethics video, which was co-produced with the Real Estate Center at Texas A&M. The video earned an Award of Excellence in the 2002 Brazos Bravo awards sponsored by the Brazos Valley IABC chapter. The ethics video also won a Bronze Telly at the 2002 Telly Awards, which give recognition to outstanding non-network commercials, video productions, and films. Featuring real-life scenarios REALTORS® often find themselves facing, the video meets the requirements for NARs mandatory Code of Ethics training and is approved for three hours legal MCE.
