So that's what the other button is for

Computer mouse

Clicking the button on the right side of your mouse can be an efficient alternative to using the pull-down menus at the top of your screen. "Right-clicking" gives you many options, which differ depending on the program you are using. Some of the possibilities include cutting, copying, pasting, and moving text, opening a new browser window, adding a Web site to your favorites, launching the "find" utility, customizing toolbars, running spell checks, printing, replying to and forwarding e-mail, adding a person to an e-mail address book, formatting, creating new folders, scanning for viruses, creating desktop shortcuts, minimizing and closing windows, viewing properties, and deleting and renaming files, to name a few.

To see what kind of possibilities this opens up for your, start clicking on the right side of your mouse.
