Spanish-language marketing resources

The Texas Association of REALTORS® provides members with several free online resources to help you more effectively communicate with Spanish-speaking consumers and clients.

Remember not to just assume that a Hispanic client or prospect wants to receive materials in Spanish. Find out. Otherwise, you risk offending someone who many not even speak Spanish or who would prefer to receive information in English.

Marketing fliers. Download, personalize, and print handouts for buyers and sellers in English and Spanish at www.texasrealtors.com/web/1/12/members/free.htm.

Forms. Blank copies of many Texas Association of REALTORS® forms translated into Spanish are available at
www.texasrealtors.com/web/63. Although not legal for transactions, these forms help your Spanish-speaking clients better understand the real estate transaction.

TexasRealEstate.com. The association’s redesigned consumer Web site, TexasRealEstate.com, includes a Spanish section with valuable information and tips for buyers, sellers, and homeowners. Use this site and its information to help promote you and your business.

Resources from other organizations. You can find information for buyers and sellers on the HUD Web site (HUD.gov), which all can be displayed in Spanish. You will also find Spanish resources on FreddieMac.com and HomebuyingGuide.org.
