Insurance discounts for steel houses

The Texas Steel Framing Alliance (TXSFA) has teamed with Travelers Property and Casualty Company to offer 20%-60% discounts on policy premiums for light-gauge steel-built homes. Steel homes tend to suffer less damage from severe weather than homes built from wood, are non-combustible, and are resistant to termites and other insects.
