Internet users also use real estate professionals.

Many people predicted the Internet would make real estate professionals obsolete. Well, many people were wrong. Information from The 2000 NAR Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers shows that those who used the Internet to search for a home were even more likely to purchase a home through a real estate professional than those who did not search with the Internet.

Seventy-six percent of non-Internet users purchased a home through an agent or broker, while 87% of Internet users purchased a home through a broker or agent.
