New TAR Web site for consumers

TAR has rolled out a new Web site that touts the benefits of hiring a REALTOR® and educates the public about buying and selling real estate. The new consumer site can be found at www.texasrealestate.com.

In addition to explanations of real estate processes and terms, the site links directly to Realtor.com's Find a REALTOR® search for Texas. The site also features buying and selling tips from Texas REALTORS®, another demonstration that REALTORS® can provide the professional, knowledgeable advice to make the most of a real estate transaction.

Texas REALTORS® can submit tips (150 words or less) by e-mail to dmccollum@tar.org or by fax to 512/370-2390. Be sure to include your name, contact information, and whether the tip is for buyers or sellers. Selected tips will feature a link to that REALTOR®'s personal Web site of choice.
