Palm shortcuts

Your PDA’s Palm OS applications offer built-in shortcuts that enable you to skip menus for some actions. While moving appointments, addresses, and other data you can cut, copy, paste, and undo text with three taps of your stylus. Highlight the text you want to move and drag your stylus from the bottom-left to the top-right corner of the Graffiti text area. A box will pop up at the bottom of the screen. Either tap the icons in the box for undo (arrow), cut (scissors), copy (two pages), or paste (clipboard), or write the letters c for copy, x for cut, p for paste, or u for undo in the Graffiti area.

Elaborate on short entries in your date book by attaching notes to your appointments. Place the cursor anywhere on the line of an appointment, drag your stylus from the bottom-left to the top-right corner of the Graffiti area, and write the letter a. A note screen appears that provides ample room for detailed notes about a buyer you’re going to meet or directions to your next listing appointment.
