What’s so great about an optical mouse?

An optical mouse uses no ball or other moving parts to navigate the pointer around your computer screen, so gunk and grime won’t build up and affect its performance. In fact, an optical mouse works fine without a mouse pad. If you’re still using a traditional mouse and ever struggle to get it to behave, try out an optical mouse to see if this inexpensive upgrade will make computing life easier for you.
