Cleaned-up brownfields fetch comparable prices
A recent study by an environmental consulting firm has found that industrial properties that were once contaminated but have been cleaned up have comparable values to sites that have never been contaminated, according to The Real Estate Center at Texas A&M University.

Entrix Inc. studied 122 industrial property sales, including 13 formerly contaminated sites, and found that there was no statistically significant stigma when it came to sales prices for cleaned-up sites.
