The latest forms

The Texas Real Estate Commission adopted revisions to the following forms:

  • 20-5 (TAR 1601) One to Four Family Residential Contract (Resale)
  • 30-3 (TAR 1605) Residential Condominium Contract (Resale)
  • 10-4 (TAR 1908) Addendum for Sale of Other Property by Buyer
  • 11-4 (TAR 1909) Addendum for Back-Up Contract
  • 26-4 (TAR 1914) Seller Financing Addendum
  • 34-1 (TAR 1916) Addendum for Property Located Seaward of the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway
  • 38-1 (TAR 1902) Notice of Termination of Contract
  • 39-3 (TAR 1903) Amendment

TREC adopted the following new forms:

  • 40-0 (TAR 1901) Third Party Financing Condition Addendum
  • 41-0 (TAR 1919) Loan Assumption Addendum

TREC repealed the following forms:

  • 21-4 (TAR 1602) One to Four Family Residential Contract, FHA Insured or VA Guaranteed Financing
  • 31-2 (TAR 1606) Residential Condominium Contract, FHA Insured or VA Guaranteed Financing

The revised and new forms were available Nov. 1, and the mandatory date for using them is Feb. 1, 2002. The new forms are available on TexasRealtors.com. Copies of the new and revised forms have been sent to form-fill software companies.
