Youre a giving person. So why not share your favorite Web sites with friends, colleagues, prospects, and clients? One easy way to do so is to export your favorites (as theyre called in Microsoft Explorer) or bookmarks (Netscape Navigator) to an HTML file. You then can attach the file to an e-mail or save it to a floppy disk or CD. When a recipient opens the file in a Web browser, it displays your list of links. Explorer even enables you to save favorites from specific folders, so you can designate one folder for people relocating to your city, another folder for sellers, one for real estate news, and one for accordion-based Elvis cover bands. (Just make sure you grab the right folder for each recipient.) This tool, along with an accompanying import command, also makes it easy for you to copy your favorites from one computer to another or between browsers on the same machine. In Explorer, choose File > Import and Export. In Navigator, choose Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks. Illustration © Artville.
