Zip tip: Edit your information

If the office information that prints at the bottom of your contracts in ZipForm is no longer accurate–or wasn’t accurate to begin with–follow these steps to fix the problem:

Ensure you are running the latest program revision, which is 1.5. To verify your version of the program, start ZipForm and choose Help > About from the pull-down menu. The Revision field should read 1.5. If you are not running revision 1.5, you need to download and install the program update from TexasRealtors.com.

  1. Before you close the About window, note the redemption code that appears in the lower-left corner.
  2. Close the About window and exit ZipForm.
  3. Establish an Internet connection and go to ZipForm.com.
  4. Select Company Name & Address Change from the menu on the left.
  5. At the prompt, enter your redemption code and last name and click the Verify button.
  6. Edit any of the information displayed on the screen and click the Next button.
  7. Click the red Update Now text.
  8. From the File Download box that appears, select Open or Run (the option displayed varies depending on your browser and operating system).
  9. Follow the on-screen instructions and click Next four times.
  10. When prompted, enter your redemption code and select Next.
  11. Your information should now be correct.
